Scripped

Scripped was an online writing service for screenwriters. It was founded in 2007 and shut down in 2015 after a technical error resulted in the failure of the site's servers and backup services, resulting in a mass deletion of all of the site's content––including users's work. 44,000 users were affected. The site sent out an email to users apologizing for the situation, then deleted its social media. Scripped partnered with WriterDuet to offer its former paid users a lifetime access code. The scripped.com domain now redirects to WriterDuet's site.
