Scripbox is a financial technology company offering an online investment platform that is headquartered in Bengaluru, Karnataka and was founded in 2012 by Sanjiv Singhal. According to the companies website (as of October 2019) Scripboc is offering its online investment platform to people living in over 1250 cities across India. Scripbox is partnered with mutual funds which include: TATA Mutual Fund, PPFAS Mutual Fund, Franklin Templeton Investment, Mirae Asset mutual fund, Kotak mutual fund, and several more.
On August 13, 2015 Scripbox completed their series A funding round with $2.5 million in funding from Accel Partners (lead investor), Deep Kalra, Rajesh Magow, Mohit Gupta, Shamik Sharma (Myntra) and Subba Rao Telidevara. the company plans on using their series A funding to expand its operations and to consolidate its market presence.
On June 30, 2016 Scripbox completed their series B funding round with an undisclosed amount of funding from Omidyar Network and existing investors. The company plans on using their series B funding to develop its branding strategy for the companies investment platform.
On January 12, 2019 Scripbox completed their series C funding round with $2.4 million in funding from Accel Partners (lead investor), Omidyar Network and NLI Investment Fund. At the time of announcing their series C funding Sripbox did not disclose how the company is planning on using their series C funding.
