Rooom is a developer of a platform that allows people to create 3D and immersive content. The Jena, Germany-based company was founded in 2019 by CEO Hans Elstner. The company's platform offers a three-dimensional product viewer with augmented, virtual, and mixed-reality technology to provide a feeling for products and to help sell products to customers. The Rooom platform has been called an enterprise metaverse platform and offers an all-in-one solution for developing new experiences for industries such as education, culture, marketing, and sales.

The company has developed game-like 3D virtual experiences capable of being integrated into events and communications, among other places. The Rooom platform was used to host a virtual event for IFA 2020, a tech event typically held in Germany. In 2020 and 2021, other companies such as Augmented World Expo 2021, Carl Zeiss, Deutsche Telekom, DHL, E.ON, Mars, PwC, and Vodafone used Rooom for hybrid or online 3D events and experiences.

Rooom's platform is an all-in-one platform for creating, managing, and sharing 3D, augmented reality, and virtual reality experiences. This includes various enterprise metaverse solutions, virtual showrooms, 3D product presentations, and virtual events. This allows users to develop interactive online showrooms to invite customers or visitors into a 3D space that can be accessed through a mobile or desktop device.

Rooom also offers the ability for companies to present products in 3D so consumers can experience products virtually from all angles, including offering surface structures and product details. The platform also offers an online event platform for users to digitally host or complement events, including virtual trade fairs, online conferences, digital workshops, and hybrid concerts.
