Perigee Aerospace is a company developing orbital and sub-orbital space launch vehicles that is headquartered in Daejeon, South Korea and was founded in 2012 by Yoon Shin. The company's launch vehicle, called Blue Whale, can deliver payloads of 50kg to sun-synchronous orbit (SSO) and payloads of 63kg to low earth orbit (LEO) for a launch cost of $2 million according to the company's website. Blue Whale uses a combination of LOX and LNG for its propellant, has a burn time of 150 s, and has a stage empty mass of 80kg.
