Pat Hanrahan

Pat Hanrahan is an engineer, computer scientist, and one of the founders of Tableau Software. He was born in 1954 and holds citizenship in the United States. Hanrahan pursued his education at the University of Wisconsin–Madison and Stanford University.

As a person involved in academics, Hanrahan has had the opportunity to advise and guide several doctoral students, such as Ren Ng, Maneesh Agrawala, Tamara Munzner, Peter Schröder, and Matthew Eldridge. His own doctoral advisor was Leonard Uhr.
