Michael Moradzadeh (born December 13, 1979) is the CEO of international law firm Rimon Law P.C. He established the firm in 2008 with COO Yaacov Silberman.
Moradzadeh is a native of Silicon Valley. Technology was part of his life from an early age. He began taking apart computers to increase their capabilities at age 13. He built his first website at age 15, when he started his first online company called EZ Webmall.
Moradzadeh attended University of California, Berkeley where he earned a B.A. with Departmental and General Honors. He graduated in three years and was a member of Phi Beta Kappa. He earned a J.D. from Columbia University, also with Honors. At Columbia, he was the editor of the Columbia Journal of European Law and the Assistant Editor of the Columbia Journal of International Affairs.
At the beginning of his career, Moradzadeh worked with startups Napster and Check Point Software. He began his legal career at the United States Attorney's Office in San Francisco and then as an associate with Ropes & Gray.
Moradzadeh developed the idea for Rimon Law P.C. with Ropes & Gray transactional associate Yaacov Silberman. They aspired to create a firm with less bureaucracy and pomp. They left Ropes & Gray to start Rimon in 2008. During the initial development of Rimon, Moradzadeh and Silberman lived and worked together in San Francisco's Sunset District.
Moradzadeh and Silberman have presented at Harvard Law School and Stanford Law School on the changing landscape of the legal industry.
Moradzadeh is General Counsel of Open Perception, "an internationally renowned group of expert scientists and engineers, working together to solve complicated 3D perception problems."
Moradzadeh married his wife Nomi Moradzadeh in 2010 in a traditional Jewish wedding. The couple has three children.
