Each MDacne customer receives a personalized treatment plan based on the severity of their acne and condition of their skin in general, which is assessed by advanced computer vision software. This form of artificial intelligence is able to take data from user-submitted selfies on the MDacne app and analyze them to match users with the products best suited for them, serving the role of a dermatologist that's available to anybody at anytime. Product recommendations are based on the American Academy of Dermatology acne treatment guidelines. The products themselves are clinically tested and consist of only FDA cleared topical anti-acne ingredients. Once users begin treatment, they can continue to upload selfies in order to track their progress and customize their future treatment plan.
