Lucata Corporation is a computer hardware company that develops technologies to address data intensive, real-time big data analytics. The company was founded in 2008 by Peter M. Kogge, Jay Brockman, and Ed Upchurch; Michael J Maulick currently serves as CEO. Lucata holds numerous patents and patents pending that aim to address the performance and scale challenges of big data graph analytics, AI and machine learning.

The Lucata Pathfinder.

Lucata is also the developer of the Pathfinder, a hardware platform that can power open-source or custom graph databases for graph analytics. The Pathfinder platform utilizes Cilk open-source libraries to allow common graph databases (like RedisGraph) or in-house developed graph engines to run on the platform. The platform is scalable to large sequences of data and does not require any manual reprogramming in order to do so.

As of 2021, Lucata has participated in a total of seven funding rounds. The most recent was a Series B funding round on April 22, 2021. The round was led by Varian Medical Systems and raised $11.9 million.
