Just The Pill

Just The Pill is an organization providing medication abortion, birth control, and STI treatment by mail. The organization’s focus started with rural communities in western and southern Minnesota, then expanded to include Montana, Wyoming, and Colorado. Just The Pill also has plans to include gender-affirming healthcare services in the future.

Users can book online consultations to take care of their sexual and reproductive healthcare needs with the organization's licensed doctors since in-office visits are not required. All medications are delivered directly to the user.

Julie Amaon, Just The Pill's medical director, said in an interview:

At brick-and-mortar clinics, even for medication abortions, you still have to be in the clinic for several hours because they have to do your counseling, and then they do your ultrasound and lab work, and then you have to wait in between procedures to see the physician. It doesn’t have to be that way. We were just trying to think outside the box to make abortion more accessible.
