InfoPrice's software that was developed is capable of collecting around 1,000 prices through a retail price inquiry terminal. The application allows customers and clients to search for items based on bulk, weight, price, brand, and other data points. The company also complements their search technology with a field team.
The data retrieved from the search process is analyzed by the software and treated to suggest changes that could improve retail price points. The software considers pricing, promotional pricing, markdowns, etc... to determine how a retailer can maximize their margins. The data is then delivered to the company.
