Humans Care Foundation (HCF) is a charity ecosystem that contains a range of projects, each with a unique mission and associated token built on the Polygon blockchain. Project teams cooperate with international non-governmental organizations to identify regional problems and fundraise in an effort to solve the issues. HCF requires partner organizations to be registered as nonprofit organizations in their respective countries, in addition to having a global presence and following ethical guidelines, such as avoiding exploitation of vulnerable communities.
HCF has developed a blockchain-based tool for public funding and has worked with organizations such as Mila4Africa, SOL Uganda, Children's Sure House, ANNIE Hope Foundation, and Children Must Live. It also has several of its own ongoing projects, including Humans Care Foundation: House (HCFH), which aims to provide disaster relief; Humans Care Foundation: Water (HCFW) with the mission of protecting and restoring global water resources; and Humans Care Foundation: Childhood (HCFC), which aims to improve the lives of children in need.
The HCF fundraising system aims to provide an open mechanism of financial distribution, allowing participants to trace how problems were identified and how much was raised. All donations and on-chain voting mechanics are open to the community. Tokenomic and main features, such as voting, staking, and lifetime staking, are almost identical for each project. To vote on the HCF platform, users need tokens of the corresponding project and must create a personal account on the platform's website.
