HeyCar

HeyCar is a company offering an online platform for buying and selling used cars that is headquartered in Berlin, Germany and was founded in October 2017 by Markus Kröger. The platform allows users to buy and sell several car brands including: Audi, BMW, Mercedes, Volkswagen, Skoda, Opel, Ford, and Wähle Deine. The platform offers used cars being offered by certified car dealerships and financing solutions with captive banks. HeyCar is offering cars to its customers with warranty, which is not traditionally done by other online platforms for buying and selling cars.

In a telephone and mail survey done by HeyCar in 2018 they found that approximately 15% of car inquiries into cars on the companies platform results in a car purchase; compared to a 5-10% purchase rate on competing platforms. The head of HeyCar, Markus Kröger, attributes the companies high purchase rate to the companies commitment to offering quality and in-demand cars on its platform, and commented on the survey by saying " We constantly strive to understand and meet our customers needs".
