Students can sign up for Graduateland via the website or when they download the mobile application, which is compatible with both Android and iOS devices. They can search for jobs via employer name, job title, or location. There is also a career guide which provides literature that is meant to aid the job-seekers with navigating through the process of finding a job.

Employers can sign up for services that allow the platform to act a recruiter for the company. Graduateland takes its database of students who have accounts on the platform and allows for employers to search for those with specific degrees. Employers can also be a part of the platform's virtual job fairs to attract talent. Another feature on the platform is the ability for employers to communicate live with users on the platform using a messaging system called "Graduateland LIVE", allowing for direct communication in every stage of the recruitment process.
