Givaudan is a company headquartered in Vernier, Switzerland, and founded in 1895 by Leon and Xavier Givaudan, developing and manufacturing flavors, fragrances, and ingredients for the food, beverage, consumer goods and fragrance industries.

Two brothers, Leon Givaudan and Xavier Givaudan, founded Givaudan in 1895 in Zurich, Switzerland. Now, Givaudan is headquartered in Vernier Switzerland.

Acquisitions

Quest International Flavors and Fragrances

On November 22, 2006, Givaudan acquired Quest International Fragrances, a flavor manufacturer for drinks, snack foods, and desserts, for £1,200,000.

Soliance

On June 3, 2014, Givaudan acquired Soliance, a manufacturer of cosmetic ingredients, and its subsidiaries for an undisclosed amount of money.

Induchem

On August 31, 2015, Givaudan acquired Induchem, a cosmetic ingredient manufacturer, for an undisclosed amount of money.

Spicetec Flavors & Seasonings

On May 23, 2016, Givaudan acquired Spicetec Flavors & Seasonings, a manufacturer of flavors fof food products, for $340,000,000.

Nutrition Division of Centroflora

On May 14, 2018, Givaudan acquired the Nutrition Division of Centroflora, a manufacturer of botanical extracts and dehydrated fruits for the food & beverage industry, for an undisclosed amount of money.
