Gerolamo Cardano

Gerolamo Cardano was an Italian polymath born on September 24, 1501, in Pavia. He was a mathematician, philosopher, engineer, and physician. Cardano's education took place at the University of Pavia and the University of Padua. His father, Fazio Cardano, was also influential in his life.

Throughout his career, Gerolamo Cardano contributed to various fields, including astronomy. He was a teacher and had notable students such as Lodovico Ferrari. Cardano passed away on September 21, 1576, in Rome.
