George Duke

George Duke (born January 12, 1946) was an American musician, composer, pianist, singer, and record producer, who was also a film score composer. He was born in San Rafael, California, and held citizenship in the United States. Duke was known for his talent in various genres, such as jazz, rock music, post-bop, experimental rock, jazz-rock, and rock (rapper).

During his career, Duke was involved in the music industry and was educated at Tamalpais High School, Sir Francis Drake High School, San Francisco Conservatory of Music, and San Francisco State University. He passed away on August 5, 2013, in Los Angeles.
