Genia Technologies is a biotechnology company founded by Roger Chen in 2009. Its gene sequencing technology is based on biological nanopores: structure-based sequencing of single DNA molecules. The company aims to reduce the price of gene sequencing and increase speed, accuracy, and sensitivity by providing alternatives to amplification, complicated fluidics, and optical detection.
