On April 6, 2015 Flowhub announced raising $500,000 in seed funding from Poseidon Asset Management. The CEO of Flowhub, Kyle sherman, made the following statements about the company's seed funding:

We couldn't have asked for two more strategic investors: the largest social network for cannabis consumers, MassRoots, and one of the most renowned institutional investors in the cannabis sector, Poseidon Asset Management.
On April 13, 2017 Flowhub announced raising an additional $3.25 million in series A funding from Phyto Partners and Green Lion Partners.
On October 15, 2019 Flowhub announced raising an additional $23 million in series A funding from e.ventures, Poseidon Asset Management, Evolv Ventures, and 9Yards Capital.
