FarmingTales

FarmingTales is a decentralized game where users can play to earn specific cryptocurrency tokens by farming with non-fungible tokens (NFTs). The team behind the game started launching and promoting the game in June 2021. The team has partnered with several businesses and organizations, such as Wax, Taco, Battle Blockz, Greetings from Sativa, MoonStones Collection, and Unlinked.

The game takes place in a rural part of the metaverse called New Waxchester County. In the game, each player gets a farm on which they can grow produce and other farm goods with NFTs. The NFTs represent different parts of owning a farm, such as assets on the property. Just like with real farms, players can sell their goods or take them to a shop in the game to be sold. There are different games for various kinds of goods on the farm, such as honey and saffron.

Players can earn through the game in three ways. The first is with the creation of new NFTs that can be traded on the market. They can also earn Sestertius (SEST), the main token in the game used for governance, by selling farm products. The other token in the FarmingTales metaverse is Cubitus (CBIT), which is used to pay for commodities, such as gasoline. CBIT can be earned by completing weekly tasks and staking SEST.
