Donut Lab Inc is a San Francisco-based game development studio specializing in making player versus player (PVP) and player versus environment (PVE) games. The company was founded in 2018, and while it is based in San Francisco, its team operates from locations throughout the world.
Donut Lab's flagship product is its multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) game Donut Punks. It is available for download on Android and iOS. It is a kids-versus-zombies game that takes place in a post-apocalyptic world. The characters in the game are caricatures of children, but the game itself is intended for adults.
Players can choose from one of twelve "heroes" to fight the zombies. The heroes can be modified, customized, and upgraded through purchases made with Koins, the game's currency. These coins can be bought with fiat currency.
Players can fight the zombies with different weapons to defeat them. The weapons shoot candy or popcorn. Once players defeat the zombies, they collect donuts, which have the power to stop them from maturing into adulthood. Players can also trap other players to stop them from competing with them for gaining donuts from shooting the zombies.
