DogWithBlog is both a blog about dog adoption and a non-profit, free dog adoption agency in India that raises awareness for stray or abused animals by advocating for the practice of "adopt, don't shop." The blog also has pet care tips, animal shelter and adoption resources, and "fluff" pieces on dogs.
The blog DogWithBlog was created by Abhishek Joshi in 2009. Joshi began locating and raising awareness for stray dogs in India who were in need of a home, mainly in Delhi. On the blog, he posts pictures of the dogs with contact information on how and where to adopt them. Adoptions are free, and Joshi had each dog vaccinated and sterilized before adoption. As of late 2021, DogWithBlog has helped initiate over 1,000 adoptions of stray or abused dogs.
DogWithBlog is a non-profit organization and receives no outside funding; its workers cover the costs out of their own pockets.
