Comet Labs is a venture capital firm based in San Francisco, California, United States. The firm was founded by Saman Farid in 2015. It was the subsidiary of a venture capital firm based in China, Legend Star. It specializes in funding companies developing artificial intelligence and deep technology products and services. As of September 2019, Comet Labs is managing a portfolio of 38 active companies and has sold its stakes in six companies (pb).
