CloudNC is a London-based technology company that uses artificial intelligence and cloud-computing to utilize computer numerical control machines (CNC) in a more efficient way than humans.The company has calculated that this technology could cut the time it takes to produce mechanical parts in half.
The company has a stated mission to make the production of mechanical parts more efficient than the status quo. It does this by entering its client's designs into their software, which then manufactures and produces the designs.The software is capable of processing the design and deciding the fixturing, toolpath strategies, cutting parameters, and more for each part that is input into it.
CloudNC has a dashboard on which employees can navigate the options for production. The means and mode for production are decided by the artificial intelligence technology but CloudNC can use the dashboard to view fixtures, machines, and tools that are to be used to create the client's desired part, where holes will go in the part, and any errors or machine issues that may occur.
