Center Health is an app that is designed to help manage diabetes. The app was created by Ali Imani and Julian Laval.
Ali Imani and Julian Laval had originally met as competition while working on separate diabetes startups. They quickly decided though, that their products only benefited one another. Julian had decided to create a startup because he has type 1 diabetes. And Ali because his father is diagnosed with type 2. Their theses, blood sugar prediction, and blood glucose monitoring are what helped them realize they could compliment each other.
The app features Aria, a smart AI which helps analyze trends and patterns in user injections or meals. The app can also be used with an add-on a glucometer, called the Nano. The Nano automatically records blood sugar levels. The Nano is a paid for addition, as are the strips needed to use the glucometer. Center Health is also compatible with all other health or diabetes apps used including, but not limited to, Dexcom, Medtronic, Fitbit, Google fit, or even Apple's Health app.
