Brian Behlendorf

Brian Behlendorf (born March 30, 1973) is an American engineer and computer scientist . He was born in California and currently resides in San Francisco . Behlendorf is a citizen of the United States .

Brian Behlendorf attended La Cañada High School and later graduated from the University of California, Berkeley . He is the founder of The Apache Software Foundation, a non-profit corporation that oversees the development of open-source software projects . In addition to his role as the CEO at The Apache Software Foundation, Behlendorf is also the CEO of Hyperledger, an open-source collaborative project hosted by the Linux Foundation to advance cross-industry blockchain technologies .
