Bolt is the developer of electronic scooters to provide micro-mobility solutions. Their range of mobility products include electric scooters, bikes, and mopeds. The company was co-founded by Kamyar Kaviana, Sarah Haynes, and Olympic gold medalist Usain Bolt to provide smarter infrastructure and sustainable and accessible transportation options in neighborhoods, achieved in part through partnerships with municipalities, universities, and local businesses.

The company offers micro-mobility solutions for campuses, cities, and delivery drivers. As well, the company offers their scooters in partnership with cities to provide an amenity for residents. Bolt Mobility also offers B2B fleets, leasing, and licensing opportunities.

Bolt offers a range of fully electric scooters. The different models are built on an aluminum chassis, equipped with ergonomic hand grips, finger touch throttle, and easy grip brakes. The scooter includes dual foot rests for 180 degree visibility.

The models include the Bolt One, which offers a 25 mile range, an LCD display screen with range, speed, and time; the Bolt Two which offers a 37 mile range and a wireless phone charger and holder, on top of the other features of the Bolt One; and the Bolt Chariot which offers a 25 mile range, and includes the capability of holding a regular sized shopping bag on top of the other features of the Bolt Two. All of the scooter models come with swappable batteries.

The Bolt fleet includes the Gotcha Bike which is powered by Bolt, and the Ojo Cruiser, which is also powered by Bolt, and available through the company's application. Further, the company has partnered with design advisor Ed Welburn in order to develop new models of the Bolt scooters and to improve the current designs. New designs include the possibility of a Bolt moped.

MobilityOS

MobilityOS is an ecosystem of technology that powers Bolt's micro-mobility solutions. This on-board software offers a solution that is integrated into Bolt's scooters, and offers turn-by-turn navigation, geo-fencing alerts, audio and video playback, and speed and parking notifications. The application is supported by 4G, LTE, and BLE network technology. Further, the application can be customized by corporations to provide a marketing opportunity, or to offer a turnkey solution for micro-mobility on company campuses.

BoltOS One

The BoltOS One is a mobile application available for use on iOS and Android devices. The application powers both the B2B and B2C solutions for scooter use, including a rental mode for users to rent scooters deployed around a city, and a corporate mode to limit use of scooters to users of a specific corporation.
