Biotechnomy was a Boston based life sciences research and venture capital firm which invested in early-stage biotechnology companies. Juan Enriquez founded the company and was the Chairman and CEO of the firm. As of January 2020, the firm has seized all of its operations. The company focused on genomics-based energy, industrial and agricultural opportunities; companies with technologies that accelerate drug discovery and development; and businesses capable of improving the diagnosis and treatment of disease. The firm invested in companies like Synthetic Genomics, Xcellerex, and New Matter.
