Nanjing BioPoint® Diagnostic Technology Co. Ltd. (Nanjing BioPoint®) is an integrated Point of Care Testing (POCT) medical diagnostics company. It works in close collaboration with the world-renowned Burnet Institute in Melbourne, Australia, facilitating the efficient industrialization of Burnet’s diagnostics R&D into commercial products.
The mission of the Nanjing BioPoint® is to develop and commercialise POC devices and assays in areas of UNMET MEDICAL NEED, to increase access to life-saving treatments for infectious diseases.
This product will provide liver function testing for patients with acute hepatitis and chronic hepatitis, alcohol or drug related liver injury as well as metabolic liver diseases living in Africa, certain Southeast Asian countries, India and other countries and regions where there are not adequate hospital and laboratory facilities.
Using the ALT1 point of care diagnostic product as a foundation stone, the Nanjing BioPoint® will develop a series of point of care diagnostic products, including test for tuberculosis, test for various type of hepatitis and the test for the amount of virus in blood etc. in the future.
