BULB is a Web3 crypto blogging platform where ideas, passion and engagement are rewarded. As pioneers in the Web3 crypto blogging space, BULB is challenging the way users read and write online by rewarding users for each and every interaction through their ‘Do-to-Earn’ engagement model. On BULB, all users are rewarded with BULB Tokens for writing, reading, sharing, reacting to and commenting on blogs. By combining a ‘Write-to-Earn’ element with a ‘Read-to-Earn’ element, users on BULB are incentivised to both produce content and engage with content made by other members of the community.

BULB was founded in September 2021 by three passionate, talented and mission-driven individuals who are deeply committed to building a blogging community where ideas, passion and engagement are rewarded. Since then, the core team has grown to 8 members with 4 advisors who are all passionate about rewarding ideas.

Users are rewarded on BULB as both writers and readers. All users start with earning BULB points by collecting BULBmojis as writers who Write-to-Earn and as readers who engage with posts written by other members of the BULB community. Readers can collect BULBmojis by reading, reacting and commenting. To collect BULBmojis, users will need to spend some of their daily allocation of BULB energy. The amount of BULB energy is fixed for users and is replenished at 24 hour intervals.

The user’s BULB points are then used to calculate their earnings in BULB Tokens. The user can subsequently use BULB Tokens to purchase tradable consumables on the platform such as premium articles, energy recharges, and the ability to boost their post to get more engagement on their posts.

To join BULB, users first need to set up a Phantom Wallet and enable the Phantom Wallet extension on Google Chrome, Firefox, Brave or Microsoft Edge. Users can then set up a BULB account and begin blogging.
