Another Brain is a software company developing artificial intelligence technology using an approach inspired by biology that is headquartered in Paris, France and was founded in 2017 by Bruno Maisonnier. The company calls their biology inspired approach to developing artificial intelligence 'Organic AI'. According to the company's website, their Organic AI platform is capable of self-learning and does not need large amounts of data and energy compared to other approaches to artificial intelligence.
On February 6, 2018 Another Brain completed their first venture round with €10 million in funding from Alpha Intelligence Capital, Daphni, Global Founders Capital, Cathay Capital, and Aglae Ventures. The company plans on using the funding to invest in further developing its technology and to hire more employees. At the time of receiving this funding the company is focusing applying its technology for the autonomous and assisted driving, industrial robotics, internet of things (IoT), and medical industries.
On October 1, 2019 Another Brain completed their second venture round with €19 million in funding from SEB Alliance, Robinson Technologies, Alpha Intelligence Capital, Daphni, Cathay Capital, and undisclosed angel investors.
