Advanced Simulation Library is a free, open source hardware accelerated multi-physics simulation platform designed for solving partial differential equations. Their computational engine is written in OpenCL and utilizes matrix-free solution techniques that enable memory efficiency and deployability in a variety of parallel architectures.
The architectures can range from inexpensive FPGAs, DSPs, and GPUs up to heterogeneous clusters and supercomputers. The engine is hidden entirely behind C++ classes so that no OpenCL knowledge is required from application programmers. The mesh-free, immersed boundary approach allows the user to move from CAD directly to simulation which reduces pre-processing efforts and amount of potential errors.
Advanced Simulation Library can be used to model several coupled physical and chemical phenomena and employed in a variety of fields. These fields include computational fluid dynamics, virtual sensing, industrial process data validation and reconciliation, image-guided surgery, computer-aided engineering, design space exploration, and crystallography.
The company offers innovative R&D solutions and is involved in diverse academic and industrial collaborative projects dealing with multidisciplinary problems.
