3D FrankenPunks exist on the Ethereum blockchain. Users can buy the NFTs on OpenSea to get governance rights over CryptoPunks and access to the community wallet. There are 10,000 3D FrankenPunks for purchase on OpenSea, and they have variable traits regarding facial hair, accessories, and gender.It is stated that the purpose of FrankenPunks is to take care of CryptoPunks, and if it is done properly, FrankenPunks can take over CryptoPunks.
Once operating in Punksville, the metaverse for FrankenPunks, users can use the currency $WRLD. It will be used in future versions of the project for reward systems and to create games, quests, and a marketplace in Punksville.
