Zonergy is a state-level technology company developing solar and biomass energy sources through the cultivation of palm oil. Zonergy operates three research and development centers:
- Zigong R&D Base is responsible for the company's core research and development and pilot test platform, and production of the company's core series of products. This center also works to accelerate the company's technology accumulation, product iteration, and business development in optical storage microgrids.
- The Chengdu Research Institute is responsible for energy storage product development, intelligent control product development, inverter development, advanced battery technology research and development, and industry-university research cooperation.
- The Shenzhen Research Institute is responsible for development in the fields of clean energy, new energy products, and optical storage, including research in power electronics, fusion technology, photovoltaic technology, weak power grid adaptability, and clean electricity conversion.
