Wilhelm Maybach

Wilhelm Maybach, born on February 9, 1846, in Heilbronn, was a German engineer. He primarily worked in the automotive and motorcycle industries and was the founder of Maybach and the Mercedes-Benz Group. Furthermore, Maybach was also involved in the development of motorcycles.

Throughout his career, Maybach received several accolades, including being inducted into the National Inventors Hall of Fame in 2007. Wilhelm Maybach passed away on December 29, 1929, in Stuttgart. He had a child named Karl Maybach, and held German nationality.
