Whitfield Diffie

Whitfield Diffie, also known as Bailey Whitfield 'Whit' Diffie, was born on June 5, 1944, in New York City. He is a citizen of the United States and currently resides in the country. Diffie is a mathematician and computer scientist who is educated at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Stanford University.

Diffie is known for his notable work on the Diffie–Hellman key exchange, an important encryption method in the field of cryptography. His contributions to the field have earned him multiple accolades, including the 2015 Turing Award and being inducted into the National Inventors Hall of Fame in 2011.
