WePC began as a collaboration project between ASUS and Intel where people would get together and create new concepts and ideas for computer designs, discuss their feasibility, impracticalities and obstacles. The main computer categories involved netbooks, general notebooks and gaming netbooks.
In 2019 WePC is a media publishing company part of BGFG (By gamers For Gamers) group.
