University of Namibia

The University of Namibia (UNAM) is a public educational institute located in Windhoek, Namibia. It was founded in 1992 and operates under the accreditation of the Ministry of Education of Namibia. The university is part of the Association of Commonwealth Universities and the Association of African Universities.

UNAM is involved in the education, higher education, and university sectors. It has a motto: "Open your mind." As a subsidiary, the University of Namibia operates the University of Namibia Press.
