University of Jos

The University of Jos is a public university located in Jos, Nigeria. Established in 1975, the institution is recognized as an organization and educational institute operating within the education, higher education, and university sectors.

The university has been accredited by both the Nigerian Universities Commission and the National Universities Commission of Nigeria. With a motto of "Discipline and Dedication", the University of Jos is affiliated with the International Association of Universities, the Association of Commonwealth Universities, and the Association of African Universities.
