Ted Nelson

Ted Nelson , born on June 17, 1937 , is an American philosopher, teacher, and computer scientist . He was born in New York City to parents Ralph Nelson, a director and producer, and Celeste Holm, an actress . Ted Nelson is also known as Theodor Holm Nelson .

Nelson received his education from a variety of institutions, including Harvard University, Swarthmore College, and Keio University . One of his most notable works is the Project Xanadu , a pioneering hypertext system.
