Today Academpark is more than 300 resident companies and 120,000 sq. m of space equipped with modern equipment and technological services necessary to create new products. Due to its location in Akademgorodok, Technopark and its residents closely cooperate with the university, academic science, production and business.
Academpark provides an opportunity to build or rent laboratory, production and office space for a mature technology business. For start-up teams, there is a business incubator where projects are accompanied from the idea stage to entering the market.
The Technopark operates in four areas: information technology, instrumentation and high technology equipment, biotechnology and biomedicine, nanotechnology and new materials, each of which has its own technological and business infrastructure.

2017
Initiative to create the Industrial Office of the Academpark
At a joint meeting of the Council of the Novosibirsk City Chamber of Commerce and Industry (NGCCI) and the Council of the Interregional Association of Enterprise Managers (MARP) on November 2, 2017, an initiative was announced to create the Industrial Office of the Academpark - a permanent working group to develop partnerships between innovative companies-residents of the Academpark and industrial enterprises of the region .

Many project teams working in the Academpark have experience in the field of research, design and creation of industrial samples. But for the deployment of mass production, other competencies and production resources are required. Novosibirsk industrial companies can provide them, and the Technopark is ready to act as a link in this process.

Academprak residents have the competencies and capabilities to search for solutions to complex technological problems at the modern level. The technopark could offer these opportunities to industrial companies to solve specific problems of production development, to eliminate "technological barriers".
Academpark has a whole pool of service technology companies that specialize in providing high-tech services of various profiles. Novosibirsk enterprises could also place orders at the facilities of these companies.
In October 2017, a memorandum was signed on the creation of the Skolkovo regional operator between JSC Technopark of the Novosibirsk Academgorodok and the Development Fund of the Center for the Development and Commercialization of New Technologies (Skolkovo Foundation).
The development of Skolkovo's activity as a federal development institution, which has a set of benefits and preferences for developing innovative companies, has led to the need to extend the operation of these mechanisms to the regions of Russia. This dissemination can be carried out only by relying on a system of similar institutions created in the regions.
The Technopark of the Novosibirsk Academgorodok (Academpark) was chosen as the largest and most efficient institution for supporting innovative business in the region. Both the regional government and the Skolkovo Foundation identified Academpark as the main partner, or rather, as the future regional operator of the Foundation in the Novosibirsk region.
