Swedia Capital was founded in 1989 with an objective to invest in growth companies with a long term investment view. They invest surplus liquidity in the capital market. Swedia Capital is based in Sweden.

Swedia Capital's investments include Owell, Trevise Bank, Unibet, Neonet, Ark Travel, Gant, Kentor, Nordic Edge, Pled Pharma, Orc Group, Spago Nanomedical, Synthetic MR, Cinnober Financial Technology, DIBS Payment Services AB, and The Lexington Company AB.

Swedia Capital has been a founder of venture capital companies ITP Invest and Rite Ventures. Both are disposed as of 2011. Swedia HighP is their new venture capital company.
