Overview

Superconductor Technologies (STI) was a developer, manufacturer, and marketer fo superconducting products for wireless networks. The company was founded in 1987 and provided interference elimination and network enhancement solutions to the commercial wireless industry, including RF filtering, HTS materials, and cryogenics to develop high-performance HTS wire for existing and emerging power applications. The company's products had applications in the electric power industry, industrial motors, generators, and condensers in the telecommunication industry.

The company's flagship product was its SuperLink Rx product line, which incorporated patented high-temperature superconductor (HTS) technology to create a cryogenic receiver front-end used by wireless operators for network performance while reducing capital and operating costs. The product line was further developed through STI's 2002 merger with Conductus, Inc.

Merger with Allied Integral United

In 2021, Superconductor Technologies finalized a merger with Allied Integral United. The merger included a reverse stock split and special stock dividend as the companies merged, and the new company changed its name to Clearday, Inc. The merger was approved by the shareholders of both companies previous the finalization.
