Space ISAC is a Colorado Springs-based nonprofit Information Sharing and Analysis Center focused on space industry threats. Born out of a study conducted by the S&T Partnership Forum in 2014, Space ISAC was initially sponsored by NASA, the U.S. Space Force, and the National Reconnaissance Center. The company was officially founded in April 2019 and is a member of the National Council of ISACs. Erin Miller has served as the company's Executive Director since December 2020.
Space ISAC states that its main goal is to enhance the global space and cybersecurity industry's ability to prepare for and respond to threats, vulnerabilities, and incidents. It aims to do this through collaboration with institutions in both the private and public sectors. Space ISAC is especially focused on threats within the space sector and places an emphasis on supply chain, business system, and missions' issues.
Space ISAC's goal is to recruit a wide variety of members from both the public and private sectors to collaborate and share information. As of 2021, the company offers four tiers of membership to organizations interested in joining.
