Some Engineering

Some Engineering is a Hamburg, Germany-based software development company that develops the cloud management software Resoto. The company was founded in 2020 by former D2iQ site reliability engineer (SRE) Lukas Lösche. Some Engineering is led by Lösche and CEO Lars Kamp. The company consists of Lösche, Kamp, and a remote international team of Matthias Veit, Raffaele Picca, TheCatLady and Nikita Melkozerov.

The company's flagship offering, Resoto, is a cloud management platform that aims to make cloud infrastructure searchable and accessible. Some Engineering describes Resoto as "infrastructure intelligence" software, a new category of software coined by the company itself. Initially developed by Lösche while he worked at D2iQ, Some Engineering took over development of Resoto in 2021, after D2iQ open-sourced the software.
