See-Mode Technologies is a Singapore-based software company. Its product provides information required for stroke prediction. The technology uses computer vision, artificial intelligence, and computational modeling.
The company's software utilizes regularly collected ultrasound, computed tomography (CT) scans and magnetic resonance images (MRI) of arteries to create a database that medical professionals can reference to predict strokes.
It takes the images and turns them into 3D models. Neurologists can look at the models to determine what makes up the plaque. There is also a feature on the software that uses computational fluid dynamics, which creates a digital replica of how the blood flows through that patient's arteries. It uses algorithms that can differentiate between images of harmful and benign plaque build-ups in arteries. Medical professionals can then use this information to take steps to attempt to prevent strokes in their patients.
See-Mode Technologies is running trails with its product in Singapore, Europe and the United States of America.
