Sammy Kaye

Sammy Kaye , born Samuel Zarnocay Jr. on March 13, 1910 , was an American bandleader, composer, and songwriter . He was a prominent musician in the big band and jazz genres . Kaye was born in Lakewood, Ohio , and was a citizen of the United States .

Kaye attended Ohio University and later Rocky River High School (Ohio) . Throughout his career, he contributed to the music industry as a musician . Sadly, he passed away on June 2, 1987, in Ridgewood, New Jersey .
