Roman Polanski (born Raymond Roman Thierry Polánski on 18 August 1933 in Paris) holds citizenship in both Poland and France. He is a multifaceted personality in the film industry, known as a film director, producer, screenwriter, and actor. Polanski has used the pseudonym "Romek".
He received his education from the National Film School in Łódź and Jan Matejko Academy of Fine Arts. Roman Polanski has directed numerous films, including "The Pianist" in 2002, "Rosemary's Baby," "Repulsion," and "The Ninth Gate". Some of his notable work as an actor includes "Weekend of a Champion" and "Rush Hour 3".
Polanski has received multiple awards, such as the Academy Award for Best Director, BAFTA Award, and the Golden Globes, USA. Roman Polanski has been married to Emmanuelle Seigner, and they have a child, Morgane Polanski.
