Robin Healthcare offered a medical technology product for orthopedic practices to improve their efficiency for medical documentation. It was called The Robin Assistant and was an egg-shaped smart assistant device that produced medical documentation in the form of fully billable clinical notes that were posted directly into electronic health records (EHRs) on systems such as Epic and Cerner.

The product that was offered by Robin Healthcare used artificial intelligence (AI) to record patient interactions with providers during appointments. The interaction is then transcribed and can be uploaded to EHRs for clinical and billing purposes. The audio was then transcribed by remote medical scribes. Doctors were allowed to view the transcription and make any necessary edits before it was added to the health record.
