Richard Pipes

Richard Pipes (born November 7, 1923) was a historian and writer born in Cieszyn, holding citizenship in the United States and Poland. Educated at Cornell University, Pipes's work primarily focused on the history of Russia and the Soviet Union, and he was a prominent scholar in the field.
