Recommerce Group is a company involved in the buying back, taking back, recycling, reconditioning, and reselling of reconditioned equipment. Equipment includes smartphones, tablets, game consoles, and computers.
Recommerce Group began partnering with Auchan Retail Romania in April 2020. Through the partnership, the smartphones refurbished by Recommerce Group will be sold in thirty of the Auchan hypermarkets in Romania, situated in Bucharest, Cluj, Craiova, Sibiu, Timisoara, Constanta, Brasov, Suceava, Bacau, Baia Mare, Deva, Galati, Oradea, Pitesti, Satu Mare, and Targu Mures.
The company selected the global logistics company XPO Logistics to manage their outsourced supply chain operations in France. XPO will utilize a team of employees set aside for the task of handling the logistics for about 350,000 products annually. This includes the storage, order preparation, loading, and shipping of reconditioned mobile phones plus accessories from XPO’s site in Tigery to consumers, retail shops, and warehouses.
